DAY 1: CUSCO – MOLLEPATA –
MARKOKASA
You will be picked up from your hotel early in the
morning, we cross the little and picturesque villages
Izcuchaca, Zurite, Ancahuasi, then the ruins of Tarawasi.
We will arrive at Mollepata, from here the trek begin.
Camp at the head of the trail, Markokasa
DAY 2: MARKOKASA – CHOQUEKICLLA – SORAYPAMPA
We start our trek escorted by a bilingual guide, and
camp crew. Mules will carry all the luggage and a couple
of saddle horses would be available in case someone
needs them. From Choquekiclla we can see two glaciers,
Humantay and the giant Salcantay 6,250 meters, at whose
feet we camp at about 4000 masl in Soraypampa. (B+L+D)
DAY 3: SORAYPAMPA – PAMPA JAPONESA – CANAL INCA
Today slowly hike close under Salkantay, then
descend to the Inca Canal from where we can see lovely
geography below us.
DAY 4: CANAL INCA - TRES PIEDRAS – LLULLUCHAPAMPA
After a healthy breakfast we star hiking ,going down
to Sisaypampa, bypassing the Inca hamlet of Huayabamba ,
then going through an Andean cloud forest to camp above
the tree line at Paucarcancha, down the Cusichaca valley
to Llulluchapampa, also known as Inkaracay.
DAY 5: FIFTH DAY: LLULLUCHAPAMPA – PAKAYMAYU –
SAYACMARKA
Early morning rise, we will visit the ruins of
Inkarakay, then we start our hike to the Warmiwanusca
pass 4,100 mts (known as "Death of the women pass") then
continuing on a clear Inca Trail. This is one of the
best days on the Inca Trail, then drop into Pakaymayu,
and camp in Sayacmarka.
DAY 6: SAYACMARKA – PHUYUPATAMARCA – WIÑAYHUAYNA
We drop into the high jungle and see some lovely new
trees and animals, along with the stunning series of
palaces that make up the Inca Trail such
Sayacmarca, an important archeological site where we
will enjoy lunch. Later we continue until Wiñayhuayna
where we spend our third and final night on the trail.
DAY 7: WIÑAYHUAYNA – MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO
Breakfast, and then into the Sun Gate (Inti Punku),
the entrance to the ancient city of Machu Picchu from
here we will be able to see the ruins in all their glory.
Later when we arrive to the city ruins we will have a
complete guided tour of the site, before heading down
into the town of Aguas Calientes by bus for our return
train journey to Cusco.

When booking a trek: The government has strictly
limited the number of people permitted on the Inca Trail
during 2009 (permits are issued to about 200 trekkers
per day plus 300 porters). We recommend that you make a
trek booking as early as possible. In 2008 the trek
permits for some dates sold out more than 4 months in
advance!! However don't make a booking until you have
all the group details (names, passport numbers, ages etc)
and you are sure about your trek departure date since "these
details cannot be changed after we have bought your trek
permit"
* Participants need to be in good physical health and
condition it is good for travelers who are in condition
to hike up to ten hours, with breaks in a single day to
enjoy the Inka Trail. The trekking will be difficult if
you have not exercised regularly before your trip. To
fully enjoy an Inka Trail adventure, we advise
passengers to get into an exercise program for their own
safety and enjoyment. If a passenger suffers from any
medical condition, we advise him/her to consult a
physician about joining an Inka Trail Expedition take
only the necessary items for the 4/3 days trek, You can
leave the rest of your luggage at your hotel in Cusco (most
of hotels and hostals has an storage rooms to keep it
until your return)
PARK REGULATIONS
Park authorities may occasionally designate
different campsites than those indicate The Inca Trail
is part of the Machu Picchu Sanctuary, a protected area
of 32,592 hectares. Every visitor must obey park
regulations prohibiting littering, cutting or damaging
trees, removing or damaging stones of ruins and the
Trail, removing plants, killing animals, lighting open
fires or camping in the archeological sites (Only
authorized campsites can be used).

assuming that all your services was ok therefore we are
not going to accept any claims.
